⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions

To ensure safety and performance, verify that your setup does not fall under these common exceptions:

  • ❌ Break-In & "Set": Because this bar is non-prestressed, it is more likely to "take a set" (drop in ride height) after the first few heat cycles compared to a prestressed bar. You must monitor your ride heights closely during the first night of racing and adjust your torsion stops accordingly.

  • ❌ Internal Corrosion: As a tubular bar, moisture can collect inside the hollow bore. Internal rust can lead to stress risers and sudden failure. It is highly recommended to keep the internal bore clean and lightly oiled or capped.

  • ❌ Tube Clearance: At 0.950", this bar has a large footprint. Ensure your chassis torsion tubes are straight and free of debris. Any internal binding will cause the suspension to "spike," resulting in a dangerously erratic handling car.

  • ❌ Length Verification: This is a 29" tip-to-tip bar. While standard for many Sprint Cars, some newer chassis or specific regional classes may require 30" or 31" bars. Always measure your current bars before ordering.

  • ❌ Solid vs. Tubular Rate: A 0.950" tubular bar is softer than a 0.950" solid bar. If you are switching from a solid bar, you will need to adjust your setup to account for the softer effective spring rate.
