  • Construction: Tubular (Hollow). This design removes the inactive center of the bar to optimize the strength-to-weight ratio, allowing the tires to track more effectively over surface imperfections.

  • Tuning Profile: The 0.800" tubular bar is an aggressive tuning option. It is primarily used on the Right Rear on high-bite, heavy tracks or high-speed pavement circuits. It provides the stability of a thick-diameter bar with the "snappy" recovery time characteristic of tubular steel.

⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions

To ensure performance and safety, verify that your setup does not fall under these common exceptions:

• ❌ Rate Discrepancy: A 0.800" tubular bar is significantly softer than a 0.800" solid bar. When making setup adjustments, refer to a torsion bar rate chart to ensure you are achieving the intended wheel rate change.

• ❌ Internal Bore Maintenance: Hollow bars are susceptible to internal corrosion from moisture. Periodically clean and lightly oil the interior bore to prevent rust-induced stress fractures and sudden failure.

• ❌ Torsion Tube Clearance: At 0.800", this bar has a very large footprint inside the chassis. It is absolutely critical that your torsion tubes are perfectly straight and free of dirt; any internal binding will "lock" the suspension and cause erratic handling.

• ❌ Length Check: This is a 26" tip-to-tip bar. Verify your chassis requirements, as many Micro Sprints utilize 23" bars and full-size Sprint Cars use 30" or 31" bars.
