Torsion Bar – Mini Sprint – 26" Long – Solid – 0.775" Dia
Performance & Fitment
Application: Mini Sprint Race Cars
Length: 26”
Diameter: 0.775”
Tuning Profile: The 0.775" bar is one of the stiffest options available for a Mini Sprint. It is specifically designed for the Right Rear on heavy, "hooked-up" dirt tracks to prevent the car from hiking too high, or for pavement/asphalt applications where minimal chassis roll is required.
Chassis Compatibility: Precision-fit for all Mini Sprint chassis utilizing standard 26" torsion tubes.
Material: Manufactured from solid, high-strength alloy steel for maximum torsional resistance and fatigue life.
Precision Manufacturing: Centerless ground to a strict 0.775" tolerance. This ensures an exact, repeatable spring rate, allowing for precise and predictable chassis adjustments.
Heat Treatment: Through-hardened to optimize "memory" retention, ensuring the bar returns to its original index and resists sagging even after a full night of heavy racing.
Spline Quality: Features precision-machined splines for a tight, zero-play interface with torsion arms and stops, ensuring immediate suspension response to driver input.
❌ Incorrect Chassis Length: This is a 26" tip-to-tip bar. It is not compatible with Micro Sprints requiring 23" bars or full-size Sprint Cars (360/410) that require 30" lengths.
❌ Extreme Binding Risk: At 0.775", the bar occupies significant space within the chassis torsion tube. It is absolutely critical that your tubes are perfectly straight and free of internal debris. Any contact between the bar and the tube will "lock" the suspension and cause dangerously erratic handling.
❌ Solid vs. Tubular Rates: A 0.775" solid bar is much stiffer than a 0.775" tubular bar. If you are switching from a hollow-core setup, ensure your shocks are valved to handle the significantly higher spring frequency.
- ❌ Arm Integrity: Given the massive torque loads generated by a 0.775" bar, ensure your torsion arms are not "egged out" or worn. Worn arm splines will fail rapidly under the stress provided by this diameter.
