  • Weight Optimization: By removing the inactive center material of the bar, the tubular design reduces rotating and unsprung mass, allowing the shock and tire to react faster to track imperfections.

⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions

Even if you are racing a Mini Sprint, ensure your setup does not fall under these exceptions:

• ❌ Rate Comparison: A 0.650" tubular bar does not have the same spring rate as a 0.650" solid bar. Because the center material is removed, the tubular bar will generally be softer. Always consult a torsion bar rate chart to ensure you are moving in the right direction for your setup.

• ❌ Tube Maintenance: The internal bore of a tubular bar must be kept clean and free of moisture. Internal corrosion can lead to "stress risers" that cause the bar to snap unexpectedly under load.

• ❌ Chassis Clearance: This bar is exactly 26" long. Verify your chassis requirements, as Micro Sprints often use 23" bars and full-size Sprints use 30"+ bars.

• ❌ Binding Hazards: Ensure the chassis torsion tubes are straight and free of debris. A tubular bar is highly sensitive to external "nicks" or binding; any contact with the internal wall of the torsion tube will cause erratic handling and potential failure.
