  • Heat Treatment: Through-hardened to optimize "memory" retention. This prevents the bar from "taking a set" or sagging under the repetitive high-load cycles of competitive racing.

  • Splines: Precision-machined ends ensure a high-tolerance, zero-play fit with torsion arms and stops, preventing spline wear and mechanical slop.

⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions

Even if you are racing a Mini Sprint, ensure your setup does not fall under these exceptions:

• ❌ Incorrect Tube Length: This bar is exactly 26" long tip-to-tip. It will not fit chassis designed for Micro Sprint "short" bars (23") or larger Sprint Cars that require 30" or 31" bars.

• ❌ Internal Tube Binding: Because this bar is ground to exact tolerances, any internal rust, debris, or structural bends in the chassis torsion tube will cause binding. A binding bar creates an effectively "infinite" spring rate, leading to unpredictable and dangerous handling.

• ❌ Spline Count Verification: Ensure your torsion arms and stops match the spline count of this bar. While 26" bars often use a standard spline, some custom or legacy manufacturers used proprietary counts that are incompatible.

• ❌ Excessive Bar Fatigue: While high-strength steel is durable, all torsion bars have a "life." If the car has been involved in a heavy tumble or if the bar has reached a high cycle count, it should be inspected for "twisting" or permanent deformation and replaced to maintain consistent handling.
