⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions

Even if you are utilizing a Porsche 930-style drivetrain, ensure your setup does not fall under these exceptions:

• ❌ Standard VW Components: This axle features the 28-tooth Porsche spline configuration. It is not compatible with standard 33-spline Volkswagen Type 1 (Bug/Ghia) or Type 2 (Bus) CV joints.

• ❌ Critical Length Verification: Due to the extreme 25" length, you must accurately measure your flange-to-flange distance when the suspension is at its "tightest" point (axle horizontal). If the axle is even slightly too long for the chassis width, it will act as a solid punch, shattering the CV cages or destroying the transaxle.

• ❌ Spline Mismatch: This axle is designed for a 1.220" outer diameter spline. Always verify that your CV joint "stars" match this specific diameter; a loose fit will lead to premature spline failure, while an oversized star will prevent the "floating" action required for the axle to function safely.
