⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions

Even if you are utilizing a 930-style drivetrain, ensure your setup does not fall under these exceptions:

• ❌ Standard VW Components: This axle features the 28-tooth Porsche spline. It is not compatible with standard 33-spline Volkswagen Type 1 (Bug) or Type 2 (Bus) CV joints.

• ❌ Length Clearance: At 24", this axle is significantly longer than standard. You must measure your flange-to-flange distance at the suspension's narrowest point (axle perfectly horizontal). If the axle is too long, it will act as a solid punch and destroy your CV cages or transaxle on the first bump.

• ❌ Spline Diameter Verification: This shaft is designed for a 1.220" outer diameter spline. Always verify that your aftermarket CV joint "stars" match this specific diameter; mismatched tolerances can lead to excessive play or an inability to utilize the "floating" feature.
