⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions

Even if you are utilizing a 930-style drivetrain, ensure your setup does not fall under these exceptions:

• ❌ Standard VW Splines: This axle features the 28-tooth Porsche spline configuration. It is not compatible with standard 33-spline Volkswagen Type 1 (Bug/Ghia) or Type 2 (Bus) CV joints.

• ❌ Length Clearance: At 18 3/4", this is a long-travel axle. You must measure your flange-to-flange distance at the narrowest point of suspension travel; if the axle is too long, it will act as a solid punch, destroying your CV cages or transaxle.

• ❌ Mismatched CV Stars: This axle is designed for a 1.220" outer diameter spline. Always verify that your aftermarket CV joint internal stars match this specific diameter and spline count to ensure a secure, slop-free fit.
