⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions

Even if you are running a Porsche 930 setup, ensure your vehicle does not fall under these exceptions:

• ❌ Standard VW Components: This axle is designed for 28-spline 930 joints only. It will not fit standard 33-spline Volkswagen Type 1 (Bug) or Type 2 (Bus) CV joints.

• ❌ Suspension Compression Limits: You must measure your flange-to-flange distance when the suspension is at its narrowest point (typically when the axle is perfectly horizontal). If 17 1/4" is too long for your specific chassis width, the axle will bottom out and shatter the CV cage.

• ❌ Spline Diameter Verification: While 1.220" is the standard for 28-tooth 930 stars, always verify your CV internal star diameter. Mismatched tolerances can lead to excessive play or an inability to slide the joint onto the shaft.
