⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions

Even if you are utilizing a 930-style drivetrain, ensure your setup does not fall under these exceptions:

• ❌ Standard VW Type 1 or Type 2 CVs: This axle features a 28-spline count specific to 930 joints. It will not fit standard VW Bug (33-spline) or Bus/Vanagon CV joints.

• ❌ Length Miscalculations: Custom axles must be measured at the suspension's "narrowest" point (axles horizontal). If the axle is too long, it will bottom out in the CV cup and shatter the cage; if too short, it may pull out of the splines at full droop.

• ❌ Mismatched Spline Counts: Always verify your CV joint "star" spline count. While most 930 joints are 28-spline, some aftermarket "super-strength" variants utilize 30 or 33-spline configurations which are incompatible with this shaft.
