Premium Construction

• • Material: Forged from solid 4340 aircraft-grade alloy steel, built to withstand the high leverage and torque generated by oversized off-road tires and high-output engines.

  • Floating Spline Design: The 2 3/8" extended spline is "shoulderless," meaning the CV joint is not restricted by a fixed stop on the shaft. This allows the CV to "float" or slide as the suspension moves.

  • CV Longevity: By allowing the CV joint to find its own center during the suspension's arc, this design prevents the axle from "bottoming out" and shattering the CV cage—the most common cause of failure in long-travel setups.

  • Heat Treatment: Through-hardened and shot-peened to achieve the ideal balance of surface hardness and torsional "twist" capability.

  • Finish: Centerless ground for a precision diameter and powder-coated for maximum protection against harsh off-road environments.

⚠️ Critical Installation & Setup Notes

• Strict Measurement Required: At 19 1/4", these axles are massive. You must cycle your suspension through its full range of motion (full hang to full bump) without the shocks installed. This ensures the axle does not act as a "stop" for your suspension, which would cause immediate and catastrophic damage to your transaxle.

• Boot Selection: For a 19 1/4" axle, you are likely running extreme angles. Standard rubber CV boots will fail almost immediately. Use high-articulation silicone or heavy-duty "leather" racing boots.

• Lubrication: Use a high-quality, high-molybdenum (moly) grease. The floating action requires the splines to stay lubricated to prevent the CV joint from "notching" the axle or seizing under load.
