Note: This is an exceptionally rigid bar. It is designed as a direct-fit replacement for the factory front torsion bars but intended only for highly modified chassis.
Material: Solid 4340 aircraft-grade alloy steel, through-hardened to withstand the intense torsional forces generated by a 21mm bar on a lightweight chassis.
Manufacturing: Centerless ground to a precision 21mm diameter, ensuring a perfectly linear spring rate and a flawless surface finish to prevent stress riser cracks.
Heat Treatment: Shot-peened and heat-treated to ensure the car maintains its corner-balanced ride height under the most grueling track conditions.
Finish: Industrial-grade powder coating for superior protection against the elements and track debris.
Chassis Reinforcement: A 21mm bar transfers immense loads to the chassis. It is mandatory to inspect and likely reinforce the front torsion bar mounting bulkheads and A-arm pivot points to prevent metal fatigue or tearing.
Matched Rear Springs: To prevent uncontrollable understeer, you must use very high-rate rear coil springs. This bar is generally paired with rear springs in the 250–350 lb/in range, depending on vehicle weight and tire choice.
Damping: This spring rate requires professional-grade, custom-valved dampers. Standard performance shocks will not have sufficient rebound control, leading to a dangerous "pogo" effect on uneven surfaces.
- Ride Quality: This setup will be extremely harsh on public roads. It is optimized for smooth track surfaces and maximum lateral grip.
