⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions

Even if your vehicle falls into the year ranges above, you must ensure it does not fall under these exceptions:

• ❌ 2WD Models: These bars are specifically splined and length-tuned for the 4WD Independent Front Suspension (IFS) geometry. They will not fit 2WD Mighty Max or Ram 50 pickups.

• ❌ Post-1989 V6 Models: While some 1989 models began transitioning to the larger 2nd-generation chassis components, these bars are strictly for the 1st-generation narrow-body platform. If your 1989-1991 Montero has the factory wide-body or 3.0L V6, verify your bar length matches the 1st-gen spec.

• ❌ Pre-1982 Models: Will not fit early 1st-generation pickups (1978–1981) which utilized different suspension mounting points and bar lengths.
