⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions
Even if your vehicle falls into the year ranges above, you must ensure it does not fall under these exceptions:
❌ 2WD Models: These bars are typically length-tuned for 4WD geometry. Most 2WD Isuzu and Mazda pickups utilize a different bar length and spline count.
❌ Post-1991 Trooper: Will not fit 1992+ Troopers. The second-generation Trooper (92-02) moved to a significantly longer and thicker torsion bar design.
❌ 20-Spline vs 26-Spline: While these fit the standard 4340 conversion specs, verify your anchor and torque arm spline count matches the heavy-duty 26mm bar requirements.
- ❌ Light-Duty Builds: If your truck is completely stock (no winch, no bumper), a 26mm bar may provide a very rigid ride. They are best suited for vehicles with at least 100+ lbs of additional front-end weight.
