These 22mm solid rear torsion bars by Sway-A-Way are engineered to correct the "saggy" rear end common in aging Brats, providing a 20% increase in spring rate over the factory equipment. This extra stiffness is essential if you frequently carry loads in the bed or use your Brat for light off-road trail duty.

⚠️ Critical Fitment Note
Before purchasing, please verify your specific rear suspension type:
✅ 4WD Models Only: These bars are designed specifically for the 4WD Independent Rear Suspension found on the Brat and GL/DL series. They are physically incompatible with FWD (Front Wheel Drive) models which utilize a different rear axle beam setup.
✅ Lifting the Rear: Because these bars are 20% stiffer, they will naturally sit slightly higher than worn-out stock bars. This makes them the perfect foundation for a "budget lift" when paired with adjusted clocking on the splines.
❌ Shock Recommendation: To manage the increased spring frequency, we highly recommend pairing these with a fresh set of KYB or similar gas-charged shocks. Old, blown-out shocks will cause the rear to feel "bouncy" due to the higher spring rate.
