This is a "Stage 2" upgrade for IRS-equipped Volkswagens and water-cooled Porsches, providing a significant increase in roll stiffness and a much firmer, more planted feel during high-speed cornering and aggressive launches.

⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions
Even if your vehicle falls into the year ranges above, you must verify it does not meet these specific exceptions:
❌ Pre-1969 Swing Axle VWs: These 23 11/16" bars are strictly for Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) cars. They will not fit "Swing Axle" models, which use 24 11/16" or 26 11/16" bars.
❌ Porsche 944 Turbo / S2: These models often came from the factory with 25.5mm bars. Installing a 25mm bar would be a slight downgrade in stiffness.
❌ Aggressive Stiffness: A 25mm bar is roughly 65% stiffer than a factory 22mm bar. This will significantly firm up the ride quality. We strongly recommend pairing these with performance-valved shocks to properly control the increased spring frequency.
