⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions

Even if your car falls into the year ranges above, you must ensure it does not fall under these exceptions:

• ❌ Pre-1969 Swing Axle VWs: These 23 11/16" bars are designed strictly for IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) vehicles. They will not fit earlier Swing Axle models, which require longer bars.

• ❌ Porsche 944 Turbo / S2: These performance-oriented Porsche models often came with larger factory bars (25.5mm+); installing a 24mm bar would actually be a downgrade in stiffness.

• ❌ Significant Stiffness Increase: A 24mm bar is roughly 40% stiffer than a stock 22mm bar. This upgrade is highly recommended for autocross or spirited street driving but may require upgraded shock valving to control the increased rebound speed.
