⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions
Even if your vehicle falls into the year ranges above, you must verify it does not meet these specific exceptions:
❌ G50 Transmission Porsche 911: This SKU will NOT fit 1987–1989 Porsche 911 models. The G50-equipped cars require significantly longer torsion bars and have a different spline configuration.
❌ Post-1959 VW Beetle: These are the "short" 24 11/16" bars. They are incompatible with 1960–1968 Swing Axle models (26 11/16" bars) or 1969+ IRS models (21 3/4" bars).
❌ Maximum Rigidity Warning: A 31mm spring rate is over 290% stiffer than a factory 22mm bar. This setup is strictly for dedicated track vehicles, heavy V8-conversion sand rails, or professional-grade drag racing.
❌ Advanced Damping Required: You must use high-end, race-valved adjustable shocks to control the energy of a 31mm bar; standard street shocks will fail to manage the rebound speed, resulting in dangerous handling.
