These tubular 28mm rear torsion bars provide the massive spring rate of a solid 28mm bar while shedding approximately 5 lbs of unsprung weight. By reducing the mass the shocks must control, these bars allow for faster suspension recovery and superior tire contact during high-speed cornering or aggressive launches.

⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions
Even if your car falls into the year ranges above, you must ensure it does not fall under these exceptions:
❌ G50 Transmission Porsche 911: This SKU is incompatible with 1987–1989 Porsche 911 models. The G50-equipped cars require longer torsion bars and have a different spline configuration.
❌ Post-1959 VW Beetle: These are "short" 24 11/16" bars. They are incompatible with 1960–1968 Swing Axle models (26 11/16" bars) and 1969+ IRS models (21 3/4" bars).
❌ Extreme Stiffness Warning: A 28mm spring rate is over 160% stiffer than a factory 22mm bar. Even with the weight savings of a tubular design, the ride will be incredibly rigid. This setup is strictly recommended for track-dedicated vehicles, high-horsepower competition builds, or professional autocross setups.
