⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions
Even if your car falls into the year ranges above, you must ensure it does not fall under these exceptions:
❌ G50 Transmission Porsche 911: This SKU will not fit 1987–1989 Porsche 911 models. The G50-equipped cars require longer torsion bars and have a different spline configuration.
❌ Post-1959 VW Beetle: These are the "short" 24 11/16" bars. They are incompatible with 1960–1968 Swing Axle models (26 11/16" bars) and 1969+ IRS models (21 3/4" bars).
❌ Competition Stiffness Warning: A 27mm spring rate is roughly 125% stiffer than a factory 22mm bar. While the tubular design reduces weight, the ride will be extremely rigid. This setup is highly recommended for track-dedicated vehicles or high-horsepower competition builds only.
