⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions
Even if your car falls into the year ranges above, you must ensure it does not fall under these exceptions:
❌ G50 Transmission Porsche 911: This SKU is incompatible with 1987–1989 Porsche 911 models. The G50-equipped cars utilize significantly longer torsion bars and have a different spline configuration.
❌ Post-1959 VW Beetle: These are the "short" 24 11/16" bars. They will not fit 1960–1968 Swing Axle models (26 11/16" bars) or 1969+ IRS models (21 3/4" bars).
❌ Track-Only Stiffness Warning: A 27mm bar is over 125% stiffer than a factory 22mm bar. This results in an incredibly rigid ride. It is highly recommended for dedicated track or competition use only, as the stiffness can cause significant chassis stress and "skipping" on uneven street surfaces without professional-grade dampers.
