⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions
Even if your car falls into the year ranges above, you must ensure it does not fall under these exceptions:
❌ G50 Transmission Porsche 911: Does not fit 1987–1989 Porsche 911 models. The G50-equipped cars require longer torsion bars and have a different spline configuration.
❌ Post-1959 VW Beetle: These are "short" 24 11/16" bars. They are incompatible with 1960–1968 Swing Axle models (26 11/16" bars) and 1969+ IRS models (21 3/4" bars).
❌ Unsprung Mass Advantage: While the spring rate is identical to a solid 26mm bar, the reduced mass of the tubular design improves tire contact over ripples and bumps. To maximize this benefit, use high-quality adjustable shocks with appropriate rebound damping.
