⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions
Even if your car falls into the year ranges above, you must ensure it does not fall under these exceptions:
❌ 1987–1989 Porsche 911 (G50): These bars will not fit 911 models equipped with the G50 transaxle. The G50 cars utilize longer torsion bars (~26") and a different spline count.
❌ Post-1959 VW Beetle: These are the "short" 24 11/16" bars. They are incompatible with 1960–1968 Swing Axle models (which require 26 11/16" bars) and 1969+ IRS models (which require 21 3/4" bars).
❌ Aggressive Stiffness: A 25mm bar is significantly stiffer than the factory 22mm or 23mm bars. This upgrade will noticeably firm up the ride quality and typically requires performance-valved shock absorbers to properly manage the increased spring frequency.
