⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions
Even if your car falls into the year ranges above, you must ensure it does not fall under these exceptions:
❌ G50 Transmission Porsche 911: This SKU is incompatible with 1987–1989 Porsche 911 models. Those vehicles utilize a longer torsion bar and different spline counts specific to the G50 transaxle.
❌ Post-1959 VW Beetle: These are the "short" 24 11/16" bars. They will not fit 1960–1968 Swing Axle models (26 11/16" bars) or 1969+ IRS models (21 3/4" bars).
❌ Significant Stiffness Increase: A 24mm bar is roughly 40% stiffer than a stock 22mm bar. This upgrade is highly recommended for autocross or spirited street driving but may require upgraded shock valving to control the increased spring frequency.
