⚠️ Critical Fitment Exceptions
Even if your car falls into the year ranges above, you must ensure it does not fall under these exceptions:
❌ G50 Transmission Porsche 911: This part will not fit 1987–1989 Porsche 911 models equipped with the G50 transaxle, which require longer bars and have different spline counts.
❌ Post-1959 VW Beetle: These are "short" 24 11/16" bars. They will not fit 1960–1968 Swing Axle models (which require 26 11/16" bars) or 1969+ IRS models (which require 21 3/4" bars).
❌ Stiffening Note: Moving to 23mm from a stock 22mm bar provides a noticeable increase in spring rate. While excellent for spirited driving, ensure your shock absorbers are valved to handle the increased rebound speed.
